INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
I offer individual counseling to adults and individuals 16 and up. I offer virtual appointments from Monday through Thursday in the afternoons and evenings and see clients in person in Hoover on Tuesday afternoons. I also offer home visits.
FEES FOR SERVICES
Individual sessions are $140 for an hour session. I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and Medicare. I am willing to offer a sliding scale for a limited number of clients.
LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
BRAINSPOTTING
I am certified in Brainspotting, a therapeutic technique that utilizes eye position to unlock the brain's capacity to heal itself. Brainspotting techniques can be helpful for everything from self-awareness and personal growth to dealing with trauma and difficult experiences.
I offer counseling in English and Spanish. I have an Advanced-Mid level of Spanish as accredited by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Although I did not grow up in a Spanish speaking country, I have been fortunate to have lived a good amount of time in Mexico. I have learned a lot about and grown to love the culture of Latin America and the Caribbean.
